Having Fun in Math Class


I enjoy popping into different classes. I had a delightful time in a math class on Friday, September 6, 2008.

The big revelation: always have many examples of the concept you want students to learn. It works. Make sure that each student is able to understand the mathematical rule. The one example given in textbooks is never enough. The more examples the merrier so that students understand the strategy they have to use for a particular rule - that's the sweet spot.
