Free Arts Portfolio Development Summer Workshop for Grades 9-11

Stickball Printmedia Arts, is a nonprofit arts education organization specializing in printmaking and digital arts. The organization is offering:

• Two free portfolio development classes
• August 4 - 8 & August 11 - 15 ---10:00 am - 3:00 pm per session
• 433 East 100th St., NY, NY (101st and 1st Avenue)
• Trips to museums, galleries and printshops
• Focus of workshop - work with high school students on developing portfolios for college entrance
• Students must have been in grades 9 - 11 during the 2007-2008 school year

Annual K'nex Education Physics Challenge

Congratulations to the College Now Science students in Mr. Lucci's class for winning 1st place at the Annual K'nex Education Physics Challenge. The goal was to design, build, transport, explain and present an indoor roller coaster. Heartfelt thanks are also extended to Mr. Pane and Mr. Gordon for their invaluable assistance.
