Update on Justin Forlenza - Gold Medal Winner at SkillsUSA Nationals

The 52nd annual SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference was held in Louisville, Kentucky June 20-June 24, 2016. Justin Forlenza, a junior from Ralph R. McKee Career and Technical Education High School competed in “Information Technology Services” and received the gold medal. Justin is currently enrolled in the Computer Systems Networking Program at McKee High School. For winning first at the National competition Justin has received a number of prizes including a 10,000 dollar scholarship to Sullivan University as well as number of gift cards. Justin is planning on attending Stony Brook University to study Software Engineering and Computer Science.
Gold Medal for Info. Tech. Services

Justin was also able to take the test and receive his A+ certification at SkillsUSA Nationals. The exam is designed to certify the competency of entry-level PC computer service professionals in installing, maintaining, customizing, and operating personal computers. The A+ certification is sponsored by the Computing Technology Industry Association.
